Today, on International Clinical Trials Day, we’re proud to announce a promising step forward in the fight against childhood cancer.
The Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) has awarded £70,000 to support pioneering research into high‑risk neuroblastoma – one of the most aggressive childhood cancers. This early‑stage project, led by Professor Karim Malik at the University of Bristol, aims to lay the foundations for an entirely new treatment strategy, offering real hope for children and families facing this devastating disease.
This grant has been made possible thanks to the combined support of Joseph’s Smile and The Bradley Lowery Foundation. Our three charities were each founded in memory of children lost to neuroblastoma – Rosie, Joseph and Bradley – and together we’re driving forward research that could lead to better, kinder treatments.
Your support makes progress like this possible.
