This Carers Week, we're recognising the incredible contribution of the UK's 11.9 million unpaid carers.

Every day, 12,000 people take on a caring role, saving the economy an estimated £184 billion a year. Yet 1.2 million unpaid carers live in poverty, 74% report feeling stressed or anxious, and 2.6 million have had to give up work to care for a loved one.

Carers are the backbone of our communities. This week, and every week, let's make sure they are seen, valued, and supported.
