Tonight is the night!!! 🥳🥳🥳
⭐️ BORN FREE 5TH BIRTHDAY ⭐️
Manchester, there is nowhere else better to be tonight than here with us at celebrating life and the fact that you were all…. Born Free!
No rules, no steps, no expectations
Just… lost in the dance! 💃🏼 🕺🏻

🕰️ Doors open at 7pm
Opening circle 7:45pm (please arrive in time to start the dance all together)
Dance ends when it ends

💵 Pay on the door
Pay as you feel (recommended donation £15-£20)
Dancing snacks included in your donation

☕️ Cacao available to buy £3.50/cup Alchemy of the earth
Kombucha available to buy £3.75/bottlespirit.kombucha

💆🏻There will be chill out areas, a fire outside and the option to discuss or try myofascial release with Calmmile in our upstairs sanctuary

🚗 There is a car park but we advise parking on the road outside if you don’t want to stay until the end as you may get blocked in once there’s dozens of people here.
FREE parking permits for the surrounding streets are available on arrival from reception.

👗 There is no set dress theme for the night.
As always we say ‘you do you’ if you feeling a bit ‘ballgowny’ then rock one, if you’re feeling like a onesie is the best option then pop one. Wigs, cloaks, hats and sparkles are as celebrated as ever on our dancefloor but swimwear, a suit, fancy dress or PJ’s are also warmly welcomed. Let’s get resonantly eclectic in the wardrobe department.

See you there ravers! 🙏🏽💜

For half a decade now
We have kept this dance alive
Your energy is what built it
& now our dance turns 5 🥳

So let’s IGNITE our dance floor
With 3 DJ’s in the mix
& rave together all the way
Into dancing year 6! 🥳

Born Free marks half a decade of conscious clubbing with a massive birthday line-up.

Co-founder and resident heavyweights Lulu Powers and Atman Dao return to the decks, joined by West Yorkshire’s underground pioneer Waxtone (Ignite Sober Raves).

Lulu Powers sets the temperature with her signature high-octane warm-up, paving the way for an unprecedented, multi-genre back-to-back set from Atman Dao and Waxtone. Veteran selectors of the sober rave movement, this trio delivers pure dancefloor brilliance without the hangover.

The Line-Up

* Lulu Powers: A founding pillar of Born Free, Lulu helped evolve a weekly gathering into Manchester’s definitive sober nightlife institution. Expect an infectious, uplifting sonic journey designed to spark pure dancefloor euphoria from the first beat.

* Atman Dao: With over 30 years of dancefloor curation across UK festivals and clubs, Dao delivers a masterclass in dance floor frolicking. His sound journeys are deeply physical, merging tribal percussion with euphoric peaks and an unpredictable, cheeky twist.

* Waxtone: The driving force behind Leeds’ premier 360° sober events, Ignite. Waxtone bridges the gap between wellness and raw underground energy, moving seamlessly through genres to push the dancefloor to its absolute peak.

SAT 26TH SEP
Doors open 7pm & we have no idea what time it ends, that depends on the ravers! 🥳

We continue to offer our monthly Saturday Born Free raves on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis with a recommended donation of £15-£20.

We have parking here on site and we also have free parking permits available for street parking nearby.

There is no dress theme for this birthday edition but we invite you to come in any of your favourite costumes from your outings here over the last 5 years:
from your ‘Born Wiggy’ headwear & your ‘Born Reddy’ attire to your full on ‘Born Freaky’ ensemble, we welcome it all!!!

No rules
No steps
No expectations
Just…. Lost in the Dance!
see you there ravers!

Oh my goodness thank you so much to and every single loop lover that came to the candlelit concert last night! WOW!!! 😍

Every gathering here at is special in its own unique way but occasionally a night has a poignancy that is indescribable and tonight was unquestionably one of them.

Grief is one of heavier emotions we feel as human beings but it is one that is experienced by every human to some degree at some time and in that truth lies shared experience and the opportunity to grieve in a healthy way, together, compassionately & with reverence!

We are honoured to have here at anytime but to have them here on such a momentous day as this for them as a family personally is something we will never forget. Thank you Alex & Rose for allowing your love to assist others in processing what often is too troubling to tackle alone. You are both truly remarkable human beings and indeed works class artists. Thank you for supporting and for continuing to fly the flag for in every thought, word and action.

Thank you to everyone who brought their energy here tonight too, it was powerful, how healing it feels to honour life by leaning into our pain not distracting from it. Life can then be celebrated due to an embodied understanding of impermanence and how that makes every moment truly precious. 💫🤍

Thank you to for creating such delicious food and being such a cornerstone of TRC.
Gratitude Ella & Neil for bringing ‘Balls of Love’ along with laughter, light hearts and cracking help on clean up. Love you guys.
Finally thank you to Lizzie & Sophie for helping run the ship tonight, prepping, serving food, checking everyone in and generally being fantastic ‘Karma Yogis’.

Stay in the loop and check out the festivals that Mobius loop are at this summer in their website www.mobiusloop.co.uk
& watch this space for a very exciting announcement regarding July involving all of us. 🤔🤭😁🥳

Sleep well everyone 🙏🏽💜
