The GM Walking and Wheeling Fund is now open so get your applications in before the 4 September deadline.

The Fund, supported by Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership, offers grants of up to £7,000 to organisations to deliver projects that support more people walk and wheel more.

Last year, we proudly funded Angels of Hope for Women as part of our GM Walking and Wheeling Fund, supported by NHS Greater Manchester.

It's been an incredible journey for the women involved, progressing from short walks up to running events over 5K and 10K 👏👏

This year we've partnered with The Guardian as part of their Legacies of Enslavement programme to create 4 new free walking and wheeling routes across Greater Manchester.

The Legacies of Enslavement programme is a restorative justice initiative responding to the Guardian founders' connections to transatlantic enslavement, and these walks are one way of bringing that history to life through our communities.
