Thank you to the trader or private individual who decided to donate their garden waste on our Church lay-by on Village Court, Village, last Monday evening . The third time this has happened!! Possibly a gardening firm or trader - if you would like to clear it in the next 5 days we will not be taking further action.

Charities already face significant challenges with funding, having to deal with and paying to clear someone else's garden waste is not included. Local CCTV is being checked to identify the vehicle used, you passed several camera points so we are giving you a chance to do the right thing.

It was great to see Kellogg's UK & Ireland employees in the Centre this week for their own meeting. I was delighted to share some of the unique history of Old Trafford and Trafford Park with them. Great to see so many enjoying the Heritage Centre exhibits and artefacts as part of their team building !! Fantastic to speak to so many who had never heard the stories of the Village and the work of the Centre. Many brought gifts for the foodbank - thank you!!

Soon we will announce our Summer Exhibition about Kelloggs and its links since 1938 with

Why not book a visit for your employees or local group - fun and excitement all around.

A fantastic day of good weather - spare a thought for those we support who often only see storm clouds . Their lives on standstill & looking for a ray of sunshine to illuminate some hope. Thanks to Dave, Fr.John and the great charities we work with in Salford many are given hope. We have helped over 425 clients in Salford the majority adults over 45 yrs age , gaining the equivalent of £77, 838 over a year in support half in welfare rights claims and helping resolve debt issues so they can flourish and move on.

Ian has offered weekly computer training to many with no computer skills - an essential key to helping them gain training places or employment

We have invest in a local support worker for a charity in the area.

Thanks to the National Lottery Funding and our supporters we have helped people rediscover their dignity.

That funding is now coming to an end and WE NEED YOUR HELP, our costs also increase and resources are tight . Any offer of sponsorship, donations, gift aids or mentioning us in your will can make a huge impact on real people -no middle men - just us reaching out to serve. Go to www.stantonyscentre.org.uk to see how you can contribute. Every little helps put a smile on someone’s face and their cloudy outlook.
