Our Community Engagement Officer is out in the community building strong partnerships with GPs, health professionals, medical centres, wellbeing centres and community organisations to ensure people experiencing bereavement, loneliness and isolation can access the right support.

At The Widows Empowerment Trust , partnership working is at the heart of what we do. Together, we can reach more people and make a greater difference.

Today 15/8/26, our amazing volunteers are out in the community raising funds and awareness for charity The Widows Empowerment Trust (WET).

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who are giving up their weekend and generously volunteering their time to support a cause they truly believe in and are passionate about.

Your dedication, kindness and commitment mean so much to us and to the people and families we support. We are incredibly grateful to have such a committed team of volunteers standing alongside us and helping us make a difference in our community.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with The Growth Company to support young people into employment and help them develop valuable workplace skills, confidence and experience.

Through this partnership, The Widows Empowerment Trust will provide meaningful placement opportunities where young people can gain hands-on experience, develop transferable skills and take positive steps towards their future careers.

We are passionate about investing in the next generation and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.

Warm Welcome to Our New Staff Team!

As the demand for our services continues to grow, we are delighted to welcome new members to The Widows Empowerment Trust team.

Our new staff have begun their induction and training, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, high-quality support to bereaved people across our communities.

We are committed to investing in our team because we know that great people make a lasting difference. Their dedication, passion, and commitment will help us reach more individuals experiencing grief, loneliness, and social isolation.
