Join Bee Pedal Ready for our second National Trust bike ride, a gentle spring spin by the riverside and through blossom-filled parks. 🚲

We’ll pedal at an easy pace, taking time to soak up the views, breathe in the fresh air and connect with nature as we ride by Stockport’s rivers and parks.

Lady Pedal Community Update 💜

As many of you know, Lady Pedal is taking a break. While we hit pause, we wanted to make sure the incredible donations from our community don’t go to waste.

Over the years, especially through events like Cycling Stories, you helped us build a fund with the goal of supporting women to get into cycling. While we’re not in a position to launch our own Community Fund right now, we’re thrilled to share that the money will still go towards that mission.

We’re donating our fund to the amazing team at Bird Outdoors. They are a women’s outdoor lifestyle store and community who’ve just launched their own Community Fund. This fund will support:
✨ Training and upskilling for community volunteers
🚴‍♀️ Guided events
🌱 Building a stronger, more sustainable community

They are already putting their community fund to good use by offering a fully funded place on their Intro to Navigation course. Go to their page for more details.

TFGM are hosting free cycle training events at the Cycle Hub's at Platt Fields Park, Wythenshawe Park and Alexandra Park as well as at other venues across Manchester. 🚴

The sessions focus on building confidence cycling and also offer training sessions for complete beginners! 💚

We are looking for a qualified & experienced bike mechanic to work on a tutoring basis 1:1/1:2. Bolton based project, Monday 10-12. Rate £20 per hr.
This regular session could lead to additional freelance opportunities in a range of outdoor activities. DBS & up-to-date safeguarding required but we can help with this.
