At REVIVE Outreach Women’s Group, we’re stitching together more than beautiful designs — we’re building confidence, nurturing creativity, and empowering women with practical sewing skills to create new opportunities for themselves. This week, 5 November 2026, was a beautiful day of creativity, learning, and empowerment. From learning fresh clothing designs to transforming fabric into beautiful creations, every stitch tells a story of growth, resilience, and possibility.

Learning a new language is a journey, and at REVIVE Outreach, our amazing English learners are making every lesson count!
This time, we’re exploring English Concord — learning how subjects and verbs work together to make correct sentences. Every lesson brings our learners one step closer to expressing themselves with confidence! we don’t just teach English; we empower voices, open doors, and build brighter futures — one sentence at a time!

Another Wednesday, Another Step Towards Better English!
Wednesday, 23rd September 2026, was a wonderful day as our amazing English learners came together for their weekly class!
This week, we focused on how to express our feelings and emotions more clearly and appropriately in English — because finding the right words can make all the difference.
From learning new expressions to practising how to communicate feelings confidently, every class is another opportunity to learn, practise, grow, and speak English with confidence!
Well done to all our learners for showing up and putting in the effort!

A Wonderful ESOL Outing to Wardley Hall!
We were delighted to take our ESOL learners from Revive on a special visit to Wardley Hall as part of the Salford Diocese Laudato Si’ project.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for our learners from diverse backgrounds including Iran, the DRC, Syria, Nigeria and Sudan to enjoy the beautiful grounds, learn about the Laudato Si’ response and caring for our common home, and spend time together in a welcoming environment.
Through conversation, nature and shared experiences, we reflected on the importance of caring for our environment and the world we all share, regardless of where we come from.
We also enjoyed a relaxed lunch together, making the day even more special!
A big thank you to everyone at Wardley Hall and the Salford Diocese Laudato Si’ project for making our learners feel so welcome. And thank you to our wonderful Revive team and students for making the outing such a memorable experience.

Some pictures from our annual Refugee Families Day out and picnic. We had the pleasure of joining our wonderful friends in the Irlam community for a family picnic and day of activities.
The day was packed with fun and discovery, including arts and crafts, drumming sessions, football, archery, live music, and a guided tour of the Irlam Heritage Hub and historic train station. Families learned about local history, admired fascinating artefacts, and explored the area's unique architecture.
The excitement continued with ice cream, gifts, toys, and plenty of smiles all around. Most importantly, our families experienced the warmth, kindness, and sense of belonging that make community events like this so valuable.
Thank you to and everyone who contributed their time, energy, and generosity. Together, we are building stronger, more connected communities where everyone feels welcome.

On 10 September, the Manchester City Council Digital Inclusion Team gifted devices to some of our service users, helping to bridge the digital divide & create new opportunities for connection, learning, and independence.

We loved taking part in the Building Belonging creative taster workshop this week and reconnecting with our amazing ESOL students and teachers after the summer break.
