409th Manchester Scouts - Wythenshawe Since 1955 we have been offering fun, challenge and adventure to members aged between 4 and 25 in the Wythenshawe area.

The 409th Manchester Scouts have been valued and active members of the local community for many years. We offer Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorer scouts for both boys and girls from all faiths and cultural backgrounds.

🐿️Shoutout to our brilliant Squirrel Scouts!🐿️

Yesterday’s bivvy building adventure was an absolute triumph! With lots of teamwork, imagination, and a bit of fun, our little explorers crafted some seriously impressive shelters. We couldn’t be prouder of their resilience, enthusiasm, and those big grins.

A huge well done to all our Squirrels who got stuck in—we definitely have some future survival experts in our midst! 💪🏕️
