We are a leading training specialist, working in partnerships across Britain and Europe to deliver learner tailored accredited courses, apprenticeships, volunteering opportunities and work placements in a wide range of industry sectors. In Manchester and Salford we offer a variety of short and long term training opportunities that currently include Employability courses, Personal Effectiveness, Fi

rst Aid, Health and Safety, Business and Administration, Customer Care, Radio and Music Production, Magazine, Design and Print, Photography and Journalism, Video, Film and TV Production. CSV informs, educates, entertains and activates millions of people each year nationally and aims to energise them to take action in their communities. CSV Training & Enterprise North has 30 years experience of running and delivering high profile, dynamic community development and training programmes for community groups and those unemployed. These programmes aim to help people gain new skills and expertise and improve their employability and engage them in active citizenship. In addition, we have provided customised support to learners who face particular barriers to learning. All our training is offered at no cost to learners and some of this work is subsidised by commercial media production work offered as a cost effective solution to the third sector whilst utilising experience, latest technology and industry standard broadcast equipment to produce high quality audio and visual formats.

Dear all,

CSV Learning North in Sharston are offering a Study Programme opportunity for a group of young people to gain work experience, work towards a Level 2 qualification and to ultimately produce their own film.

We are looking for young people aged 16-18 with a real interest in film and video production who are not in education, employment or training. We will work with this "production crew" until March 2014.

We will be holding an information / open day in late September and will be starting production from October 2013.

We can offer some financial assistance and a help towards travel costs for all people attending.

CSV Learning North will be hosting another amazing writing workshop for summer 2013. This workshop will help you:

-Improve your writing skills;
-Start your own writing project;
-Gain knowledge of relevant literature; and
-Have a look at the best authors' works.

The sessions start on 19th of July, and will take place every Friday, 2-4 pm.
