Registration in now open for the 63rd International Meeting, which will take place in Palavas-les-Flots, France from the 23rd to the 28th of August 2026. The deadline for the reduced registration fee is April 30th. EHRPG 2026 will deal with a wide range of high-pressure studies from Bio/Life Sciences, Food Science and Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Geo- and Planetary Sciences, High-Pressure Crystallography, Instrumentation, Theory … Further information is available on the conference website:

The call for the 2026 EHPRG Award is open. The EHPRG Award is awarded annually to a promising young scientist or engineer in high-pressure science and technology. Nominations (and self-nominations) from all fields of high-pressure research are welcome, where high pressure is here defined to mean above 1000 bar (100 MPa). Nomination rules for the EHPRG Award and the nomination form can be found on the EHPRG website at https://www.ehprg.org/award.php The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, 31st March 2026 at 23:59 CET

The award was presented by WHP President and EHPRG Chairperson Dr Julia Contreras-García.

The 2025 AIRAPT Jamieson Award will be presented to Dr Dimitrii Semenok 🏅Dr Dimitrii Semenok is presently an advanced postdoc at the Center for High Pressure Science & Technology Advanced Research , Beijing, China 🇨🇳 Dr Semenok was selected in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of high-pressure chemistry and superconductivity in hydrogen-saturated compounds. The abstract submission deadline for the EHPRG conference is approaching (30th May). You can submit your abstract here (https://iop.eventsair.com/ehprg2025/abstract-submission). The registration fees have now been set. They are:
Full fee £625
Student fee £525
These fees are for attendance at the entire conference, including the conference dinner and excursion.
The deadline to register at these rates is 11th July. The EHPRG has a limited number of bursaries available to support early career researchers (postgraduate students, or researchers who received their Ph.D. less than 4 years ago) who would like to attend the conference. Each bursary has a value of EUR 250. If you would like to apply for one of these bursaries please send your request to Reece O’Beirne ([email protected]) outlining your need for the bursary by Friday 30th May. You will be informed of the outcome of your application by Friday 6th June at the latest. We will also inform all those who have submitted an abstract for the conference of the outcome of their abstract submission by that date at the latest.
