Marion started The Peter Quinn Friendship Group back in September 2016 because there simply wasn't enough support out there for people with dementia and those feeling isolated. Next month, we are beyond proud to celebrate 10 years of community, live music, a welcoming space where carers and loved ones can attend together, and an all-inclusive home for everyone 💙

When we asked our members what they enjoy most about coming along, their answers captured the heart of what we do.

The Peter Quinn Friendship Group is a warm, all-inclusive community open to everyone. Whether you are living with dementia, caring for a loved one, or simply looking to connect with others and beat social isolation or loneliness.

Next month marks a massive milestone for us as we celebrate 10 years of bringing our local community together every Wednesday for music, a light lunch, advice, and genuine friendship! 🎉

This September, the Peter Quinn Friendship Group celebrates a huge milestone: 10 years of opening our doors! 🥳🩵

We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has walked through our doors, supported us, volunteered, or cheered us on over the past decade.
As a self-supporting group, we rely on local backing to keep going. We provide a dementia-inclusive space, light lunches, weekly live singers, and a warm room for anyone who is feeling isolated or just needs a change of scenery.

To mark our 10th anniversary, we’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to help secure our future for the next 10 years. Every single penny goes directly back into the group-paying for venue hire, food, tea, weekly entertainment & much more!
