I’ve been working with a parent this week who carries so much guilt about her parenting, even though she’s doing the best she can, and always has.

Does anyone else feel like this?
I know I did and it’s been a blessing to find ways to manage and change my beliefs and thought patterns.

If you’d be interested in an online session (most likely an evening session) that addresses this and shares ways to beat the overwhelming guilt, embarrassment, shame, blame etc then type a yes in the comments, or dm me, and we will make it happen!

There’s enough craziness in this world without carrying big emotions/feelings that we don’t need to carry. 💖

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us at our SEND Connect Trafford event it was fantastic to see so many of you there!

We’re so pleased to hear that key parts of the event were well received, including the quiet space, ear defenders, café area, and our talks and speakers. We hope these helped make the event more accessible, welcoming, and supportive for everyone.

It was wonderful to see so many families connecting with services, gaining information, and supporting one another 💫

Just in case you didn’t know, or guess, our team behind the masks are the awesome Clair Domville and Sarah Steinhöfel.

Sarah is a co director and is a qualified coach and mentor, supporting adults (including football team fans) with their wellbeing and mental health.

Clair is our Family Wellbeing practitioner and SEND expert/consultant providing 1:1 support and advocacy.

Our lovely Rachel Valentine (Family Coach and Reducing Parental Conflict consultant)and Kath Jones (Mental Health Crisis nurse with children and adults) weren’t able to join us at the event but we will be sharing more about them soon. I’m also hopeful we will have a children’s coach joining us in a few months. 🤞

I’m so excited about the future of Calm Connections in Trafford and North Wales.

What a fab day at Trafford SEND Connect today. It was brilliant to meet so many new people and see friends from the past.

It wasn’t so brilliant to hear how many families are struggling and needing help and support to help and support their children.
We really need to see this change!

I’m delighted to share that there are two other people helping us at Calm Connections to make that change.
