The Carers Manchester Network has created a programme of free relaxing breaks for unpaid carers in Manchester.

From local walks and wellbeing sessions, to cultural experiences and day trips – find something for you on our website (link in comments).

More breaks are still in the works, so keep an eye out for further announcements!

Carers Rights Day is a national day that aims to help unpaid carers understand and use their rights. This year, Carers Rights Day falls on Thursday 19th November, but there are free events happening across Manchester the whole week!

Our Peace Garden is growing beautifully! The plants have now arrived and we are excited to see the space continue to take shape.

At ACCG Open Day, we were proud to recognise individuals and organisations whose contributions have made a meaningful difference to our community.

Congratulations to Monica, ACCG Board Member, on receiving recognition for her 20 years of dedicated service to ACCG. Her commitment, support and leadership have played an important role in the growth of our organisation over the years.

Congratulations to Michelle Griffith and Windrush Legacy Collective for their well-deserved recognition. We value our partnership and appreicate the positive impact they make through arts, culture, heritage and community engagement.

We also took a moment to remember Raphiel Phipps, whose contribution to ACCG and the wider community continues to inspire us. In honour of his legacy, we are looking forward to the development of the Peace Garden, a special space that will serve a s a lasting tribute to his dedication and impact.

Together, these individuals and organisations help strengthen our community and inspire positive change for further generations.
