*Demonstration of the Kingdom*- _January 14, 2024_

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
*Mark 16:20 KJV*

We started the week with the fact that we are expected to shine, being in the kingdom, so that those in darkness can see the light. How will they see the light...? 🤷‍♂️

According to the verse, scripture says God confirmed his word with signs following. What are the signs that follow a believer? How will we know that the God of gods is by our side?

Some of these signs are when we are like God, manifesting the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit manifests as holiness and righteousness, while spiritual gifts represent extraordinary actions empowered by the Holy Spirit.

As people of faith, we should heed these signs.

*Let's Pray*
_Dear Heavenly Father, we offer our gratitude for your kindness this morning. We humbly request your grace to help us share your Kingdom with those who have yet to know you._ *Amen* .

*Eanest Expectation of the Creature* - _January 13,2025_

_For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God._
*Romans 8:19 KJV*

A striking aspect of today's scripture is the manifestation of God's kingdom through us. This signifies not merely enjoying its benefits but actively demonstrating it to the world. Matthew instructs, "Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Isaiah further prophesies, "Kings shall come to the brightness of your rising."

Fellow believers, those in darkness yearn for guidance, and you are that light; the kingdom of God shines through you.

Our message is clear: manifest the kingdom wherever you go. Those in darkness require your radiant example; a city set on a hill can not be hidden.

Go forth and illuminate ✨️

*Let's Pray*
_Father, we thank you for your word today. Help us to shine and set us on a hill to show the world your kingdom_
*Amen*

*Prioritising the Kingdom* - _January 9, 2025_

_But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you._
*Matthew 6:33*

The prioritization of God's kingdom has diminished in contemporary church culture. Congregants often attend services seeking material comforts, ironically pursuing the very things Jesus cautioned against.
This focus intensifies the desire for worldly possessions, overshadowing devotion to God.

As Jesus instructed, seeking His kingdom and righteousness first ensures that all other needs will be met. Our current approach is flawed; we prioritize material wealth, vehicles, and worldly goods before seeking God's kingdom, justifying these pursuits as necessary for serving Him. Examples include desires for fine attire for church services, charitable giving, and convenient transportation.
While laudable, *these actions should follow, not precede, the establishment of a strong spiritual foundation* .

A disproportionate emphasis on material well-being over spiritual growth signifies a deviation from God's plan. Therefore, prioritizing God's kingdom and righteousness above all else will lead to the fulfilment of our needs according to His divine will.

*Let’s Pray*
_Thank You, Lord, for your word today. Please give us the strength to put your Kingdom and Righteousness first before our secular life so we will manifest your will to the world_
*Amen*

The Kingdom of God- _January 8, 2025_

But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:24 NKJV

Lovingkindness , judgment, and righteousness are the hallmarks of God's Kingdom. Yesterday, we established that "the Kingdom of God represents God's sovereign rule and reign". The Kingdom of God is not solely characterized by idyllic circumstances, contrary to popular belief. Today's scripture highlights these three attributes consistently exercised by God. It emphasizes that boasting should be rooted in understanding these principles. Many within the Church experience hardship due to a lack of understanding, while others thrive because of it.

Today's focus should be on meditating on God's lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness. Christians must strive to understand and embody these attributes. While rebellion may exist within the Kingdom, I pray we repent from such behaviour.

*Let's Pray*
We give thanks for Your word, Lord. Abba Father, please reveal Your ways to us and grant us the grace to follow them, fulfilling Your will.
*Amen* .
