It is fully registered with the Charity Commission (UK Charity Registration Number 1143797). It was set up to co-ordinate a number of charitable activities that are taking place in the UK, to provide help and support to Syrian families in need, in Syria and outside it. The need for such an organization has become more pressing over the past few months, in light of the developing crisis in Syria. A
group of dedicated and hardworking individuals came together to set up this Charity. Amongst the aims and objectives of Syria Relief are:
• The relief of financial hardship among Syrian people in Syria, and throughout the world…
• The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among Syrian people in Syria, and throughout the world…
• The advancement of education for the public benefit of Syrian people in Syria, and throughout the world…
We will be working closely with other reputable charitable organizations, to ensure maximum efficiency and to avoid duplication. We have already established communication channels with charitable organizations that have existing relief activities in the Region, which will enable us to distribute the money that we raise efficiently and effectively. However, the task ahead of us is monumental. The people of Syria urgently need our help. We are working very hard to provide food and shelter for families who lost their breadwinners, and we are trying to provide urgently needed medical care for a number of refugees who suffered serious injuries, and require urgent treatment. We are counting on the generosity and support of all our Arab , Muslim and British Brothers and sisters, and relying on each and every one of them to help us deliver the aid required.
