Wishing anyone who has young people getting their GCSE results all the best
Whatever the outcome!

It looks like there are lots of restaurant chains doing GCSE day freebies and specials (obvs check any websites before going to ensure they’re participating and they need proof of exams / age) but here’s a link 🔗 to metros article for anyone interested

Good luck to everyone receiving exam results today!

Whatever is written on that piece of paper, remember this: your results do not define you or your future.

There are so many different routes to where you want to go, and sometimes the path you didn’t plan turns out to be the one that takes you somewhere amazing.

Be proud of how far you’ve come, believe in what you’re capable of and keep going.

You’ve got this.

Some opportunities leave a lasting impression.

Our Role Model Relay is one of them.

For many of the girls in the room, it's the first time they've met women from different careers, backgrounds and walks of life. Women who are honest about the challenges they've faced, the lessons they've learned and the possibilities that lie ahead.

You don't have to be a CEO, an entrepreneur or have the "perfect" career. You simply need a story that reminds a young girl that there isn't one path to success.

We're now building the waiting list for our next Role Model Relay, and we'd love to hear from businesses that want to get involved.

It's a chance for your team to inspire the next generation.

If your organisation would like to be part of a future Role Model Relay, get in touch today and join our waiting list.

You never know who might remember your story for the rest of their life.

Looking for something a bit different this summer?

Give our Girls Out Loud Summer Bingo Card a go!

It's perfect for teenagers, but there's no age limit. Mums, aunties, big sisters, friends and families can all join in too.

Save it to your phone and tick off each challenge as you go, add stickers, or print it out and stick it on the fridge or your bedroom mirror. Do it on your own or make it a summer challenge with the people around you.

Most importantly, have fun, make some memories and enjoy the little moments.

If you complete any of the squares, a row, or even a full house, we'd love to see it. Tag in your photos and share your Summer 2026 adventures with us. We can't wait to see what you've been up to!

One conversation can change the direction of a young person's life.

Not because it solves every problem.

Because it reminds them that they matter.

Across Greater Manchester, there are girls growing up without enough positive role models around them. They don't need someone with all the answers. They need someone who will turn up, listen, encourage them and help them believe that their future can be bigger than their current circumstances.

That's where our Big Sister Programme begins.

We're looking for businesses that want to invest in people, not only within their own organisation, but in the next generation too.

When your employees become Big Sisters, something remarkable happens. Young girls gain someone in their corner, and your people develop skills, perspective and a renewed sense of purpose that stays with them long after the programme ends.

If your organisation is looking for a meaningful way to make a difference, we'd love to tell you more.

Join Jane Kenyon MBE - The Faithful Feminist and Kate Harrison for our free live online information session on 8th September at 12pm, or get in touch with us to find out how your organisation can become involved.

Please share this post with a business that believes every young person deserves someone in their corner. Together, we can give more girls the support they deserve.

Confidence isn't something we can hand to a young person.

It grows through experience, encouragement and having people around who believe in them.

Our Super 7 workshops give girls the opportunity to develop skills they'll carry with them long after they leave the classroom.

If your school is looking for workshops that help build confidence, resilience and self belief, we'd love to start a conversation.
