We are aware of images and very serious claims which are circulating on social media. The Trust is rapidly investigating these to establish the situation and are discussing them with the family involved.

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is committed to providing high-quality care to all of our patients.

Thank you to our wonderful Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust staff!

With their kind payroll giving, they've raised over £130,000 for our Charity, earning us a Silver Pennies from Heaven Award!

Pennies from Heaven is a scheme that allows our staff to automatically direct pennies from their monthly salary to our Charity.

Donna O'Reilly, Relationship Manager at our Charity, said: “It’s incredibly special to know so many Trust staff see the benefit of having a charity which supports the hospitals, and who feel moved to support us by making a monthly donation. Of course, we’re always grateful for every donation, but having a regular source of income like this helps us plan for the future. We’re so pleased the Pennies from Heaven scheme has been and continues to be successful.”

Thanks to your donations, in May 2021 we were able to open the Helipad at our Oxford Road Campus.

The Helipad allows patients to be transferred to the Emergency Departments at both Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary quickly and safely. Sometimes, this can be the difference between life and death.

You raised an incredible £3.9million in just 12 months through the Time Saves Lives Appeal. It was with your support that we were able to deliver this project.

There are 300 million people worldwide who are living with a rare disease.

This , we wanted to spotlight some of the work being done right here in Manchester, within our Trust and share the importance of research for those living with a rare condition.

We talked to long-time fundraiser and advocate Ann Scales, whose daughter Hannah was born with the rare Kabuki syndrome, in a time where even a confirmed diagnosis wasn't possible. Sadly, Hannah passed away at the age of six, but her legacy lives on in the the research she made possible. Watch the video.
