This week at Manchester Business Breakfast Club we have member Jack Hayes from Stuarts Property Services Ltd in the hot seat.

Jack and his team have been looking after landlords and tenants across Cheadle, Stockport and South Manchester for over 100 years. Still independent, still family-run. (We don't think Jack looks that old!)

So if you're a landlord, thinking about letting a property, or you're just curious about what's going on in the rental market right now, come and pick Jack's brains. He's happy to take questions.

We start at 7am at Manchester Tennis & Racquet Club with a freshly cooked hot breakfast, (dietary needs supported).

Nathan at Conscious Travel had us all in a spin this morning. 🎡

He promised a prize draw for every member who booked a holiday with him. Today, he put all the names on a wheel and aongratulations to Helen Nurse at Capture 1 digital agency who won! 🎉

Our Member Company of the Month for October is the brilliant Ann Davies at Bizwizuk.

If LinkedIn makes you feel a bit like you've wandered into a gym with no idea how any of the machines work, Ann is who you need.

She calls herself a LinkedIn Personal Trainer and it fits.

Ann has been getting people in business LinkedIn fit 💪 since 2011, whether that's one-to-one training, sessions for whole teams, a 3-month programme to keep you on track, or just doing the lot for you if you haven't got the time.

She's also been a member for over 15 years, so we know first-hand how supportive she is.

We'll be sharing a bit more about Ann and why so many people (including a few of our own members) swear by her.

Someone at our club is going to Seville - we just don't know who yet. 👀

Every year, business Travel and holiday expert, Nathan Stubbs at Conscious Travel, runs a competition for members who book their holidays with him.

This year's prize is a weekend in Seville, and this Friday Nathan's going to be revealing who’s won!

At the end of his member presentation, he'll spin the wheel and reveal the lucky winner.

Tapas, sunshine, and orange trees in exchange for booking a holiday you were going to take anyway. Not a bad deal, is it?

This is the kind of thing that makes our club what it is. Of course, we pass business around the room, but our members also go out of their way to look after each other. Nathan's a brilliant example of that.

When people visit they walk in as guests and leave as members... 🙌

That doesn't happen because we give a hard sell - because we don't.

It happens because people come along, enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast, tell everyone in the room what they do in 60 seconds, and realise pretty quickly that everyone there wants to help them.

Over the next few weeks we'll be announcing our new members but in the meantime, if you're wondering what all the fuss is about, come and see for yourself this Friday (2nd October) at Manchester Tennis & Racquet Club.

We're here from 7:00 am to 8.30 am and the parking's free.

Today we're shining the spotlight on Louise Clague, at DKMS UK. 🔦

September has been a BIG one for Louise and the team, it's Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

That means more cheeks swabbed, more people on the register, and more chances to match someone with the donor who could save their life.

If you've never come across DKMS UK, they're the charity that finds stem cell donors for people with blood cancer, and they do it one simple cheek swab at a time - genuinely life saving stuff!
