Moss Side & Hulme TCE was proud to be a part of the Manchester Youth Conference 2026, organised by the Manju Shahul-Hameed Foundation for Mental Health as part of the National Commission for Mental Health UK.

The conference was a great success, bringing together young people, professionals, community leaders, and organisations to discuss mental health and wellbeing.

A special thanks to MP , , Councillor Esha Mumtaz, the young people, Youth Panel members, speakers, and all the organisations that attended and contributed to making the event such a meaningful and successful occasion.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, promote positive mental health, and empower young people to shape a healthier future.

Youth Conference: Empowering Futures – Breaking Cycles of Violence and Exclusion
You are warmly invited to take part in our Youth Conference: Empowering Futures – Breaking Cycles of Violence and Exclusion, taking place on Saturday 13th June 2026, from 12:00–17:00 at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse, 140 Raby Street, Manchester M14 4SL. The conference will bring together young people aged 14–24. Lunch will be provided, and each young person attending will receive a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank-you for their participation. Thanking for connecting Moss Side & Hulme TCE with free surplus goods and food from retailers to help reduce hunger and poverty within our community.

We are delighted to have received our first food collection, which was distributed through the mosque and community centre to ensure local people could access essential support.

What a fantastic day at Community Family Fun Day in Moss Side Recreation Park as part of the GM Live Well Spring Festival 2026!

We connected with local communities to promote digital inclusion by issuing free SIM cards and sharing information about CV building, employability support, and digital skills courses at Moss Side & Hulme TCE based at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse.

A huge thanks to Jade from MSV, Manchester City Council, and Moss Side & Hulme Neighbourhood Community Development Officers Dina Peri and Nathan Mistry for bringing our communities together and making the day so special.

It was a fun-filled day for families and children, with free activities, free food, and wonderful community spirit all around. The weather was on our side too, making it even more enjoyable!

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable event. Here’s to more days like this that bring people together.
