GCSE Results Day 20th August 2026. A Message to Our Community

To all the parents, carers and students in our and community, GCSE Results Day is tomorrow.

For some students, tomorrow will bring celebrations and a sense of achievement. For others, the results may not be what they were hoping for.

If that happens, please remember: One set of grades does not determine what comes next. There are always different pathways, opportunities and routes forward.

We are here to advise, support and guide you through the next steps, whatever your results may be. Please don’t feel that you have to navigate this alone.

To every student receiving results tomorrow be proud of how far you have come, and remember that your future is about so much more than a set of grades.

Wishing all our young people the very best for tomorrow.

Here are some pictures from our Pride in Place community engagement.

Staff and team members from went out into the community and had the opportunity to speak with members of the Moss Side West community to hear their views on how the £20 million funding could help improve the neighbourhood.

We collected residents’ views, ideas and priorities through one-to-one surveys, ensuring that local voices are heard and reflected in shaping the future of Moss Side West.

We had the opportunity to speak with members of our community at the monthly free clothes bank at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse. This provided a valuable opportunity for local residents to share their views on how the £20 million Moss Side West Pride in Place funding could help improve the neighbourhood.

We listened to residents’ experiences, ideas and priorities and collected their views through one-to-one surveys. Their feedback will help ensure that local voices and community needs are considered in shaping the future of Moss Side West.

Last Thursday, we welcomed a group of young adults to discuss their views on how the £20 million Moss Side West Pride in Place funding could impact their community.

The young people were enthusiastic about getting involved and valued the opportunity to have their voices heard. They were encouraged to share their views and experiences through an independent survey, helping to ensure that the perspectives of young adults are included in shaping the future of Moss Side West.

Are you a Moss Side West resident?

Have you heard about the Pride in Place project?
Moss Side & Hulme Training and Community Enterprise is conducting a resident survey on behalf of the Pride in Place project and wants to hear your views.
Pride in Place is a long-term government-funded project that is listening to local people and using their ideas to shape the future of Moss Side West over the next decade.
The project aims to:
 Improve local streets, parks, and community spaces.
 Bring people together and strengthen the community.
 Support local groups and organisations.
 Give residents more of a say in the changes happening in the neighbourhood.

This is your opportunity to have your voice heard. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and tell us how you would like the funding to be spent, helping our neighbourhood flourish for years to come.

If you are a Moss Side West resident, please get involved your opinion matters, and together we can shape Moss Side West!

Survey forms are available in both English and Arabic.
