🏆 The North teams claimed bragging rights after two wins in the 2026 North v South matches on Saturday.

Having been revived after a more than 40-year hiatus, the 2026 North v South event featured matches including players aged 35 and older (Masters) and 45 and older (Grand-Masters).

🏆 After her oustanding performances during the 2026 European Box Lacrosse Championships in Prague, Czechia earlier in the summer, England Assistant Captain Davina Emetulu has been named as the MVP Defender and a part of the All-Tournament Team!

🎓 Yesterday, 25 of our brand new 2026/2027 cohort of England Lacrosse Student Ambassadors attended an Induction Day at Birmingham University!

The day included sessions on what it means to be a Student Ambassador, reporting and measuring success, social media, and freshers’ fairs; sessions were delivered by England Lacrosse staff and concluded with an outdoor practical session.

🏆 England box lacrosse star Lauren Lewis helped Peterborough Lakers to a first ever Women’s Major Series Lacrosse (WMSL) Provincial Championship title in Canada on Sunday!

Lewis, fresh off the back of an impressive third place finish with England at the Euros in July, travelled to North America to take part in this year's WMSL competition as she continues to learn, improve, and make more connections within the sport 🙌

👏 A massive congratulations to our England Men's Box Lacrosse Team Head Coach, Walt Christianson, on his induction into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026!

Inducted into the Builder category, Christianson is recognised for a legacy that lies in the systems, pathways, and coaching lineages he has created for the next generation of the sport.

After 10 years at the helm of the England team, Christianson is the most successful Men's Box Team Head Coach, leading us to five major tournaments and winning the Euros in 2022 🏆

Earlier this month, Dynamos picked up the 2026 Tasko Cup in Macclesfield after a big 5-0 final win over Capitals 🏆

In the third place game, Whippets claimed the bronze medal with a 10-4 victory against Phantoms 🥉

England Lacrosse has announced the adoption of new protective eyewear requirements for the domestic game as part of its ongoing commitment to player safety 🥍

From 1 September 2026, protective eyewear will be mandatory for all participants taking part in organised lacrosse activity in England where a non-deformable lacrosse ball is used and the playing rules do not already require a protective helmet with a face mask
