Last night was something really special 💫
To mark International Women’s Day, Focus hosted our very first women’s-only challah bake— and what an incredible evening it was. Over 60 amazing women came together to mix, knead, braid and bake their own challahs.
There’s something so powerful about the process of making challah. From bringing simple ingredients together, to kneading the dough, separating the challah, and carefully braiding each loaf — every step carries meaning, tradition and intention. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and the beautiful energy that comes from women gathering together.
Watching dozens of challahs being braided side by side was such a special sight — a reminder of the strength of community and the power of shared traditions.
