🎉 I’m delighted to announce another Manchester Scene Stories Live event!

On Friday 11th September, I’ll be joined by Suddi Raval for an evening celebrating Manchester’s legendary dance music scene at Withington Public Hall Institute - WPHI

Suddi has been at the heart of club culture for decades, and we’ll be talking about his experiences, the rise of Acid House, the clubs, the DJs and the stories behind one of the most exciting periods in Manchester’s musical history.

After the interview, Suddi will be take to the decks for a special Acid House DJ set, bringing the sounds of that era to life.

This is the first Manchester Scene Stories event to combine a live interview with a DJ set, and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you.

To celebrate the release of the new issue of modernist magazine “PUBLIC”, we’re delighted to welcome Eddy Rhead (co-founder and Editor in Chief of the modernist) for a talk on the highs, lows and hard truths of running an independent magazine and publishing company.

Whether you’re thinking about self publishing, love design, or just want the inside story on independent media, this one’s for you.

🍕 Doors open from 4pm, with pizza served from 5pm, so come early, grab a slice, and make an evening of it before the talk kicks off at 7pm.
