Anastasia Days, Manchester (2026)

Our mission is to promote the emotional recovery of young people across the North of England who have encountered illness, abuse, bereavement or other significant trauma.

‘Anastasia Days’ arranges memorable, no-compromise, fun days-out for children aged 6-16 and their families. Our Trustees and Volunteers take time to tailor individual experiences matched to the needs and interests of children who have been successfully nominated for an ‘Anastasia Day’.

💖 Meet Ruth Grace – a brave young girl from Manchester who’s been living with complex health conditions since the age of 8. She’s a big fan of K-pop, musicals… and especially penguins! 🐧🎶🎭

It was our pleasure to arrange a special Anastasia-Day for Ruth Grace, her sister Amelia, and their mum and dad 💕

The weekend included a trip to see Hamilton at the Liverpool Empire 🎤👑 and a visit to Chester Zoo to see the penguins🐧🐧🐧

💖 Meet Emeli, Jessica, and Nichola from Leigh — three inspiring young ladies who, along with their mum, have faced some incredibly tough years, including the heartbreaking loss of their dad in 2019.

The girls share love for Leigh Leopards 🐆, Manchester United ⚽, and all things fashion 👗✨.

Anastasia Days was honoured to arrange a well-deserved day of smiles: a luxury limo ride 🚖, a shopping spree for outfits 🛍️ at The Trafford Centre — ready for their special photo shoot 📸 at Steve Lowrey Photography at Spinners Mill.

A huge thank you to this lovely family for letting us be part of your journey — we're wishing you all the happiness and strength for the future 💕🌟

Meet Ziyaad, a courageous 10-year-old from Preston who has been battling leukaemia with incredible strength and determination. Despite the challenges of the past couple of years, and some dodgy performances on the pitch, his love for Manchester United has never wavered! ⚽🔴

To bring a smile to Ziyaad and his family, Anastasia-Days arranged a special treat—a memorable overnight stay at Hotel Football Old Trafford, a stadium tour, and a shopping spree at the Manchester United Megastore! 🏟️🛍️✨

Ziyaad, we are so inspired by your bravery and resilience. We hope you and your family had a memorable time making happy memories 💖

🌟 Meet Lillie-Mae, an incredible 8-year-old from Bolton whose bravery shines even in the face of heartbreaking loss. 💔 With her cousin Koby-Lee and Nana Tracy by her side, we were privileged to give Lillie-Mae a weekend full of smiles at Pleasure Beach Resort and Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool. 🎢💦

🎉 Meet Elliot from Wigan! After bravely battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for over 3 years, Elliot rang the bell in 2023! 🙌 His love for animals, especially red pandas, led us to treat him and his family to a special weekend in the Lake District, including an unforgettable Red Panda Experience at South Lakes Zoo 🐼❤️.
