Everyone is welcome to join our meet-up to share thoughts about our latest book The Deepest Well by Dr Nadine Burke Harris. The group is informal - please don’t let it stop you joining us if you’ve not managed to finish the book!

We meet at Expo Lounge in Didsbury, a 5 minute walk from the tram stop and street parking is available nearby.

Eid Mubarak to our friends celebrating today.

We are also thinking of all those unable to celebrate in peace as they are living through conflict and hardship in other areas of the world 🤍

Becoming trauma informed isn’t a tick box, it’s a journey. Having the space to ask questions and learn together is so valuable, so we’re excited to get together and have wider conversations about trauma.

Join us for an agenda free, informal meet-up for anybody on the journey of learning more about trauma. We’ll be at House of Books & Friends in the city centre on Monday 30th March from 12-1.30pm. This is a drop in chat open to anybody!

If you’ve got any questions, please email [email protected]. Hope to see you there :)

Please note this is not a therapeutic session, but an open conversation to discuss, learn, and explore what trauma is and the journey to becoming trauma informed.

“I now have a better understanding of me and some of my behaviours. I’m more tolerant and self-caring towards myself”

Understanding that what’s happened to us in the past can influence our physical & emotional health, can be a lightbulb moment 💡

Come and join us on a free 8 week workshop to learn more about how trauma is something that can impact us all, not just a big, one off events.

The workshops are small (no more than 10 people) and there’s no need to talk about anything personal. The sessions will be relaxed and friendly with lots of tea and coffee provided (and free food on the Tuesday night session).

Sorry, but due to funding this only open to Wythenshawe residents 18years + this time. Workshops outside of Wythenshawe will be happening soon.
