Today's GARDENING FOR ALL session was all about the willow... Great news for the minty mosh pit, recently given a tidy by our Family Allotment Crew.
Different sessions, different ages groups, different people, all working together at The Pankhurst Plot.

Our First Children and Family Allotment session today was absolutely glorious...

After settling into the space, some children simply wandered about checking out and feeling the pumpkins, squash and sweetcorn; others grabbed magnifying glasses and studied intently the strawberry plant flowers before heading off on a snail hunt; a few learnt about the properties of rosehips and learnt how to remove the tiny, irritating hairs before use. And everyone met Bert, our allotment parrot; an honorary volunteer no less.
