Just reading those words fills us with emotion. 🥹❤️
We may not have taken the trophy home this time, but in our hearts, we already feel like winners.
For a grassroots community organisation like ours, being seen, recognised and celebrated at this level is something we will never take for granted. This recognition belongs to every person who has walked through our doors, trusted us with their story, shared their voice and helped shape what Mahtsen CIC has become.
Being recognised as a finalist for the Service User Involving Organisation Award is especially meaningful because our work has always been about people, community and belonging.
We believe the people we support should never simply receive a service — their voices, experiences, ideas and strengths should help shape it.
