It's and today we'd like to say a ginormous thank you to our helpline volunteers who take 20,000 calls per year!. Malcolm has been volunteering with us since 2009 and said:

"Volunteering on our helpline is always educational and often really rewarding. It’s also given me an opportunity for some self-improvement! Helping people to express their story, when they are struggling to communicate clearly through a chaos of emotions and circumstances, requires a good deal of patience, understanding and other communication skills.

I think that as a volunteer with Both Parents Matter you also have a real sense that you are making a worthwhile contribution. We are a tiny charity, and one more volunteer can have a big impact."
