Busy session with our training group this evening.

Amongst everything else we had going on, some lovely runners let us know they had spotted a swarm of bees next to the Heaton Park & Hall Hall.

We managed to get them in a box and moved them to our apiary 🐝

Check out this great video from Manchester Honey Company - we have had these insects a lot closer to home than we would like in the last year, with confirmed sightings and nests in the North West in 2025! Keep an eye out and be sure to report any sightings.

Our most recent corporate sponsor is Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport & Radisson Manchester City Centre. Here is Cluster Operations Manager Rosie King with their hive. We'll put it out in the yard and fill it with bees in the spring. Thanks to Radisson Blu for their support!
