🎉 Come and Cheer Us On! 🎉

We’re so excited to be performing at We Invented the Weekend on Saturday 6th June at 2.25pm on the Plaza Stage!

We Invented the Weekend is the UK’s biggest festival celebrating free time, taking over MediaCity and Salford Quays with over 200 FREE activities across the weekend. From live music and performances to sports, workshops, talks and family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone and the best part is, there’s no need to book. Just turn up and enjoy!

Our Mama And Me community will be taking to the stage to showcase the routines we’ve been learning together, including a very special performance dedicated to Paul Abram and his family in support of MND research.

Whether you’re a current member, a former member, a friend, family member, or simply want to support local families doing something incredible, we’d love to see you there.

💙 For Paul 🧡

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Paul sadly passed away on Thursday following his journey with Motor Neurone Disease.

Paul, Beth and their family have been close friends of .and.me_uk for many years and hold a very special place in our hearts. Beth has choreographed some of our most loved routines, bringing joy to so many families across our community.

We’ve dedicated our first We Invented the Weekend performance routine to Paul and his family, with the aim of raising money for MND research. Following Paul’s passing, that dedication now carries even greater meaning.

On Saturday 6th June, our amazing Mama And Me community will dance in Paul’s memory and celebrate the love, strength and legacy he leaves behind.

International Day Of The Midwife

Today we’re celebrating the incredible midwives who walk alongside women at the very beginning of their motherhood journey 🤍

The ones who:

✨ Hold space in the unknown
✨ Offer reassurance when everything feels overwhelming
✨ Advocate, support, and truly see the women in front of them

For so many mums, midwives are some of the first people to say:

You matter too

And that’s something we carry with us in everything we do.

Because while our work might look different, the heart of it is the same
supporting women, holding space, and putting parents first

To every midwife in our community and beyond, thank you for the care, the compassion, and the impact you make every single day

We’ve got some really exciting news…

Mama And Me will be taking to the main stage at We Invented The Weekend Festival 2026 on Saturday 6th June

This feels like such a special moment for our community. What started as a space for connection, support and a little bit of dancing has grown into something we now get to share on a much bigger stage.

Our performance will celebrate the reality of motherhood the beauty, the chaos, and everything in between and we’ll be inviting the audience to join us for a fun, interactive finale

If you’ve ever been to a session, you’re already part of this. And if you’d like to be involved or come along to support, we’d love to have you there.

MNDA 2026 DANCEATHON

This fundraiser is being organised by our very dear friend Beth, her husband Paul has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

Beth is a talented choreographer and has choreographed some of our favourite Mama And Me routines. We’ve been friends and colleagues for many years and the family hold a special place in our hearts.

Please come along, raise money for the family and the Motor Neurone Disease Association charity.

Mother’s Day 🤍

At .and.me_uk we see motherhood in all its forms, every single week.

Our community spaces and the families who walk through our doors remind us that parenting was never meant to be done alone.

So this weekend we celebrate the mums showing up every day with love, strength, snacks, and more patience than they knew they had.

But we also hold space for those who find Mother’s Day complicated. However this Sunday feels for you, please know this:

You belong in this community too.

Because at The Parenting Collective CIC, we believe something deeply:

Some people celebrate today. Some people survive it. Both deserve kindness.
