The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation has been set up in memory of our very much loved & missed daughter, Milly-Rose. No one should ever have to lose a child.

The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation is a Registered Charity no.1203667 Supporting bereaved parents 💙 Pride of Britain Regional Fundraisers of The Year 2025 Milly passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly in February 2023, at the age of just 6 and a half years old. Milly was beautiful, brave, incredibly loving and had already shown a strong desire to help others, having completed charity work of her own for causes close to her heart. Our aim is to create a legacy in Milly-Rose’s name, to relieve the distress of parents and families who have suffered this immeasurable loss. During those first few hours, and days after Milly passed away, we became aware of how small changes can make a big difference, and that things need to change. Whilst nothing will ever take the pain away, we hope we can help hold families in their time of need, with the provision of a more personalised approach to the care of their little one, by providing items for bereavement rooms, clothing for the child, cuddle blankets, and other support we identify along the way. We hope to be able to work alongside other charities, by speaking at training events and in any other way we can.

Sorry for the delayed update for the annual charity rugby match between Heaton Moor Rugby Club & Broughton Park Rugby BPFC earlier this month. We have obviously been a little busy adjusting to life with our family's new addition and it's taking some time to catch our tails.

We can now officially confirm that an amazing £1,490.53 in donations was raised on the day!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came down to support and for all of the hard work that people put in to make sure the day went ahead smoothly in daddy's absence.

Thank you for all of Milly's birthday love yesterday, it means the world to us that she is remembered by so many 🦋💙

As part of Milly's birthday, we have made what we hope is a meaningful donation, towards a project that means a lot to Mummy & Daddy, and that will help to support and hold a lot of bereaved parents.

You will get to hear more about that in September...

But until then, thank you for your continued support, both in remembering our beautiful girl with us, and helping us to help other parents too.

Sending you the biggest birthday cuddles and kisses to our beautiful Milly-Rose, a whole decade of being your parents, we are so lucky to get to love you, you are such a special little girl, and we are blessed to call you ours, it is a honour to be your Mummy and Daddy.

Today is a hard day, full of mixed emotions, full of beautiful memories, and we will try to smile more than we cry, because your birthday is such a special, happy day, all about you.
