You all know how quickly tickets sell out for this special fundraising event in aid of our great causes in Manchester, Lancashire, Munich and Belgrade in honour of the Babes.

Who Are The MMMF? What is its Purpose?

Some people think that the MMMF exists to remember the Busby Babes by posting on Facebook about birthdays of those who died in the Munich air crash and by organising the annual remembrance event in Munich.

Yes we do those things but the real reason we exist is to raise money. The MMMF is first and foremost a charity and in under 10 years we have raised nearly £160,000 which has been distributed to the charities that we support:

Born on this day in 1932...United full-back and Busby Babe Geoff Bent. Geoff sadly passed away on a Munich runway on 6.2.58

Today we remember David Pegg who died at Munich and Dennis Viollet who survived Munich. Both celebrate their birthdays today. Happy Heavenly Birthday lads xx

Today we remember Johnny Berry who died on 16th September 1994 aged 68. Johnny was a survivor of the Munich air crash but due to the severity of his injuries, he never played professional football again. RIP Johnny

***MUNICH 2027 FANS REPS APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN***
As many of you will know, every year we provide the opportunity for 2 United fans to come to Trudering to read out the names of those who died on 6th February 1958, on behalf of our global fanbase and to lay a wreath in their memory.
Our aim is always to maintain the legacy of our lost Babes down through the generations thus the criteria for applicants is for an adult and a related child between 13 and 18 years old on 6/2/27 (ie parent & child/grandparent & grandchild/aunt/uncle & neice/nephew etc although there is a certain amount of discretion if requested).

The applicants should not have previously attended the memorial as Fans Representatives and must be based in UK/Europe

Don’t forget to book on to our MMMF Annual Gala Dinner 🇾🇪 One of our auction items at the MMMF Gala dinner on 30th October is this fabulous ‘scale replica of the Duncan Edwards stained glass window’, situated in St Francis Church Dudley England. It really is stunning, and has been made by the wonderfully talented Stephen Melgie Merry. It lights up and would stand out in any location. We expect bidding to start at around £2000 on the night.
