Clearly the message needs to be repeated, please DO NOT leave anything outside the shop, this is for 2 simple reasons.

1. It is illegal fly tipping
2. Anything left outside is not viable stock

As stated in the previous post there will be days when we are unable to accept due to high levels of donations, but you are more than welcome to contact the shop and speak to a member of staff.

The shop opening ours are clearly printed on the door, but if you refuse to bring something during these times please dispose of it because it will not be accepted.

This was left outside the shop and as such is classed as flytipping and it is not viable stock, if you are looking to donate, please do not leave anything outside because it will not be accepted, we are open 9-5 Monday-Saturday & 10-4 Sunday, there will be days when we are unable to accept due to high volumes of donations, so if you’re unsure feel free to phone the shop and speak to a member of staff.

I would like to set the record straight for anyone who is spreading rumours around the area, the shop is not closing and it won’t be for the foreseeable.

The only charity shop that is closing as far as we’re aware is Elkin Court.

We have no connection to The Hideaway, or Elkin Court so anything happening with them does not effect us, if there was anything happening with the shop the staff members would be the only ones informed and this would then be passed on to the customers.

If you’ve heard otherwise please ignore it.
