From championing the North to taking the keys to Downing Street 🗝️

Good luck to Andy Burnham at Number 10! He has done a great deal for Manchester, and we have every faith in him. A massive day for us northerners! 🐝

Here we are with him back in December for the opening of Cafe 93 where he came to support something truly special and remarkable for Harpurhey. We hope to see much more of this 🧡

We received some lovely produce from the urban garden at Northern Roots to use in Cafe 93.

This vibrant, fresh produce traveled just a few miles down the road from our Oldham to help the team at Café 93 serve up warm, nourishing meals for the community 🧡🥦

A very special shout out to Kamil, the owner of Khau Galli

Khau Galli restaurant in Oldham are on a mission to provide one million meals to people in need across the world.

From Ramadan parcels in Bangladesh to meals served to people in need in Oldham, they have provided 100,000 meals to people in need, with over 10,000 of those meals coming to Eat Well MCR to distribute.

We were introduced to Kamil by his close friend Sam Malik, who tragically passed away shortly after the introduction. Sam set in motion a legacy of kindness that means thousands of people receive delicious meals, made by the restaurant he introduced us to. It was a small gesture for Sam but one that has an ongoing impact.

Big thank you to Kamil and the whole team at Khau Gali and congratulations on hitting an amazing milestone 🧡

A beautiful time was had this week at our fundraising dinner at WINSOME. 🍽️

A huge thanks to Shaun Moffat and the team for being the perfect hosts to us and our wonderful custodians.

Every dinner, event, and Custodian membership directly funds high-quality, chef-made meals for women seeking refuge, families in temporary accommodation, food banks, schools and more within the Greater Manchester area. We are so thankful to you all.
