Dave and Carol have just been with a new selection of books for the tenants, plus they took a couple of boxes of donations for the shop back with them.

Had a visit from David & Carol from Get Free Books GET Free Books Hyde, Clarendon Square who did a swap of books off both our bookcases. Tenants are thrilled to have a lot of new books to go at.

Important information about loan sharks!!!!


IMLT are working with BSHP to highlight the importance of tenants not using loan sharks. The week long campaign can be found below and will run from Monday 30th September 2024 until Friday 4th October. Organisations are asked to put the pre scheduled messages out across their social media channels. IMLT will also issue a press release aimed at housing media to highlight the partnership working with BSHP. Feel free to share the campaign with colleagues from any other housing association who may have missed it etc.

Shine A Light Walk for Cancer Research.
In October I will be doing a 10km walk around Manchester City centre in aid of Cancer Research. I am doing this in memory of people we have lost to cancer and those who have been through or currently undergoing treatment for cancer. All donations will go to Cancer Research and if you want to you can donate via the link to my JustGiving page, or on the sponsor form in the court.

Court in Bloom.
As we do not have any gardeners to create colourful flower beds we decided to make our own out of paper. After lots of cutting and sticking we have created our own little garden, complete with gnomes!!. All flowers are hand made but we did paint the gnomes
We are very pleased with the result of all our hard work.😍😍😍🌷🪻🌹🌺🌸🌼
