We are looking for some extra support in our on site cafe to help during busy periods.

This is a flexible role (approx. 7–10 hours per week), to include Fridays and busier times, with additional hours available to help cover holidays.

No previous café experience is essential – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn 😊

If you’re friendly, approachable, and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!

Please note the cafe is only open Monday - Friday for Breakfast & Lunch, therefore no weekend work required.

Great Horton Park Chapel Cricket Club have a DIY Draught excluder event on Friday 20th February, 1pm-5pm. A great afternoon for all the family, take your old and unwanted clothes to make your very own draught excluder!

💜 What will happen at the Health Check?

👩🏼‍⚕️ The nurses will take your blood pressure, bloods to test for cholesterol, diabetes and more, and we can check your height and weight too.

👩🏼‍⚕️ All information and results will be sent straight to your GP and they will contact you if a health concern is highlighted.

👩🏼‍⚕️ We will be there to talk to you about all things Social Prescribing and Patchs as well as other services who will be joining us.

The Woodside Wellbeing Hub is open and ready to help with any support or advice you need! We have Bridge, Citizens Advice, Family Navigators, The Sutton Centre, Working on Wellbeing Social Prescribing, Dementia Hub, DWP, and Inspiring Neighbourhoods all in the centre and ready to assist you. These services are all FREE for you to speak to. Come along and meet the great teams and refreshments are available.

Our FREE NHS Health check is this Sunday, 7th December, 11am-2pm at A.R.C.H in Queensbury.

The team will register you on arrival, then you will have your height and weight recorded and the nurses will then take your blood pressure and bloods to test for cholesterol, diabetes and more. All your results will be sent straight to your GP and they will contact you if a health concern is highlighted.

A.R.C.H also have their Artisan Christmas Market on at the same time. Lots of amazing stalls for you to browse and purchase a Christmas present or 2.

As the festive season approaches the Social Prescribing team are putting together “Pick me up parcels” for Christmas, to support individuals and families who may be struggling this winter. ❄️

We are reaching out for donations so we can support as many individuals and families as possible.

We are particularly looking for donations such as:

• Hygiene products 🧼
• Warm items 🧤
• Non-perishable food 🥫
• Small gifts or Christmas treats to spread some cheer 🎁

Every little helps and will go a long way in making someone’s Christmas a little brighter.
