A proud moment for Royds Lodge 1204 as we presented a cheque for £1,255 to Malvern Special Families, supporting the vital work they do for children and young people with disabilities and their families.

The donation was raised through Martin’s “14 Shades of Cold” challenge and our Burns Night celebrations, bringing members, friends, and supporters together in the spirit of generosity and community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, and supported these efforts. Your kindness helps us continue making a positive difference and supporting important local causes.

A fantastic evening for Royds Lodge 1204 last Thursday as the brethren proudly installed Bro. Ben Murphy as Worshipful Master for the coming year.

The evening was filled with friendship, tradition and true Masonic camaraderie, with members, visitors and friends coming together to mark the occasion. We were also honoured to welcome members of the Provincial Grand Lodge in attendance for the installation.

We wish Worshipful Brother Ben Murphy every success for the year ahead and look forward to what promises to be an excellent year for the lodge.

Our members often visit lodges around us in the Midlands, but last week Royd's member Jon Boxall went a step further and took a 600+ mile round trip to Stonehouse in South Lanarkshire where he visited Stone Lodge Union 244. Good effort Jon!

In December we were visited by Rob Bamberger from Court Knoll Lodge 9194 in Suffolk. Rob is raising funds for their provincial festival, and as part of this exercise he is visiting other lodges around the country. We were very happy to welcome Rob into our lodge, and to donate to their festival.
