FUEL TAX
The government recent announced a temporary 5p cut . From 57.95p to 52.95. However in reality they are giving you nothing given they charge 20% on top of the price . For example diesel at around £2 per litre brings in an extra 37 p litre in vat . So the higher the price the more they make .
So they have no interest in lower fuel prices
They receive approx 11 billion in VAT
The temp cut will cost them around 2 billion
TAX from motoring brings in about £40 billion per year

RMBC HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE LITTER PICKING POLITICAL
Volunteers who help us do litter picks are being refused litter picking gear as they are unhappy with the fact we are out shining them .
They are nothing short of BULLIES and a disgrace
If people want to see the streets and parks filthy then so be it .
We dont need to do it we do it because we CARE
I could purchase some but then why should we when we pay £95 to Maltby town council let them clean your streets
If they think they can stop us they are mistaken
Having spoken to our team of volunteers it has been stated that that we will not BEG to tidy up our own village .
SHAME ON RMBC who should be doing it instead

BURNHAM talks about bringing Manchesterism to the country.
So does that mean he intends to put us further in debt being as Manchester sits 5th in the league table of councils in debt owing 1.7 billion .
Thats a hell of a lot of £2 bus fares

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A LETTER FROM EON ABOUT ENERGY CONSUMPTION
We have spend a considerable amount of money improving our house with new windows doors improved insulation etc.
Coupled with this we have had a hot summer and mild Autumn. We have also done our best to reduce our energy consumption.
The letter states that they may do a home visit .
I find this approach distasteful given that our reduction is due to making cost efficiency savings as much as possible ( low energy bulbs turning items off as much as possible)
It just goes to show its all about them making money and not about you being responsible )
I think they have made my mind up to move companies
