Well done all on a fabulous £172.76 raised at Saturday’s Bake Sale.

This will help us continue to provide a varied and interesting programme for all our members.

Thank you to Amanda, Heather and Lesley for manning the stall and to everyone who baked a cake.

It’s coffee time this coming Wednesday at Jackdaw’s. Whether yours is a Latte or just an Americano why not pop along for a natter and a social with your WI friends.

What a fabulous evening we had tonight at our Annual Meeting where we also celebrated our 9th birthday with cheese, fizz and birthday cake once the formalities were out of the way.

Congratulations to the Committee who were all voted back in and welcome to Karen who will be joining us as a general committee member.

Frances, our Treasurer, enjoyed a warm welcome as a visitor to Roundswell WI (North Devon) this week.

The star of their monthly meeting was Ann Widdecombe who delivered a very entertaining talk on her life and times starting with her Strictly experience, followed by her career in TV, writing and then a hint of her political career.

A fun time was had by all.
