Proud of the families from Cookham Dean Primary School who took part this year! 17 children completed the full circle from years 1-6! It's a long way for little legs. We've also raised £580 so far, which is amazing. If anyone else would like to sponsor their effort, you can do so at: https://www.justgiving.com/page/boundarywalk2026cdpta
Thank you!

🥾 629 walkers. 33 charities. More than £20,000 raised! 💙 What a way to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Maidenhead! 🎉

Our 2026 Maidenhead Boundary Walk brought the community together for a very special Circuit of the Century – supported by 65 fantastic volunteers giving 220 hours of their time.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who walked, volunteered, fundraised and supported the day – and to Berkeley Homes for sponsoring this year’s event.

📚 October Readathon!
Our whole-school Readathon starts this October! Children from Reception to Year 6 will receive a Readathon Passport with fun reading challenges to complete throughout the month.

The aim is simple - read, have fun and raise money for our school! Children can read independently, with a grown-up or enjoy listening to a story.

⭐ How it works
Complete the weekly challenges in your Readathon Passport and record your progress. There’s no pressure to complete everything — we just want everyone to enjoy getting involved!

💰 Sponsor your child
Ask family, friends, grandparents and neighbours to sponsor your child for taking part. Simply share our sponsorship link or QR code so they can donate online. https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/cdreadathon2026

Every donation helps support additional resources and opportunities for our children.

Ready, set… READ! 📖❤️

👻 🪩 The Spooks & Sparkles disco is coming soon! Booking is now open. The KS1 disco is going to be not so loud, not too dark so they can relax into the disco - any Year 3 children not ready for the hustle and bustle of the KS2 disco are very welcome to join the earlier session (there’s a section on the booking form for that). Please book soon so we can plan for the numbers - booking link in Stories / in bio. Thank you! 🎃

You only have until Wednesday 30 September to sign up to the 50:50 club. The first monthly draw is on Thursday 1 October. It’s only £30 for the whole year!

What is a 50:50 club? Sort of like a lottery where the money gets split between the charity (our PTA) and the monthly prize winners! It’s a great way to support the school for not much effort, and you could end up with more than you started with! The money it raises for the school will benefit your children on a day to day basis.

Just fill in the form on the link in our Stories / bio, it’s so easy! We appreciate your support! Thank you 🤩

Thank you and Good luck!🍀💪
