It’s set to be a momentous few days for equestrian safety in parliament next week.

✅ We’re thrilled that a Westminster Hall debate on horse and rider road safety is taking place on 14 January.
✅ On top of that, the Road Traffic (Horse and Rider Safety) Bill is due to see its second reading on 16 January.

Both have been introduced by MP Lee Dillon, following our collaborative ride from Lambourn to Windsor last year, and really signify a great opportunity for change.

Thank you everyone who came along to our show yesterday at BCA, we have all just about thawed out we hope you have too!

It was a great success with 130 entries over 8 classes from cross poles - 100cm!
We had a lovely mix of lots of local Pony Club Members from our branch OBH Hughenden of course, Woodland Hunt, Aylesbury Vale, Flamstead, OBH South, South Ox Central, Garth South, Bicester & Warden Hill, OBH Chilterns, Cobham & Wimbeldon and lots of open entries as well.

Thank you so much to our army of volunteers you all helped the day run so smoothly. Of course to our amazing sponsors thanky ou for your generosity.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sally Lloyd (née Kent) has passed away.

Sally was an OBH Hughenden member throughout her childhood, and the Kent family were the backbone of the Pony Club for many, many years. Upper Warren Farm, Sally’s home, was at the heart of Pony Club life — hosting rallies, barn dances, efficiency tests and so many happy occasions over the years.

In recent years, Sally continued her support of the Pony Club by kindly allowing current members to use Upper Warren Farm for stable management training.

Sally loved seeing children enjoying their ponies and having fun. She was always generous with her time and facilities, and she helped create many happy memories for Pony Club members past and present.

She will be very much missed. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.

Lovely evening with OBH Hughenden members last night at our AGM, social and prize giving. Great to see the progress everyone is making and celebrating their successes on their own individual journeys.
