✨🌱 Exciting things are growing in Magherafelt! ✨🌱
Magherafelt Women’s Group, in partnership with Involve House and Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre, kicked off Volunteer Week in style with the launch of Roots and Shoots , a brand new intergenerational community garden project! 🌿
A fantastic group of local women came together at the Centre to begin planning this inspiring initiative. The project will transform a small, unused plot into a vibrant, welcoming green space that will boost biodiversity, strengthen community connections, and support wellbeing for all who get involved 🌸
We’re delighted to have the support of Community Gardens, Conservation Volunteers, and Northern Regional College, who are generously sharing their time, skills, and expertise to help bring this space to life 🌼
The creativity, ideas, and energy in the room this morning were truly uplifting, we can’t wait to see Roots and Shoots flourish in the months ahead
