Our Febuary meeting was just lovely. The evening started with the useual business then our guest speaker took each of us one by one and checked out our phone cameras and showed us how to take really good pictures. The evening was very informative and once again finished with a lovely supper.

Our next meeting is on the 12th of March at Meadowbank sports arena 7.30 pm. Its the area quiz also we have Elly McGinn as guest speaker.

Hello everyone our January meeting was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. So we had our meeting on the 15th. We starting our evening with WI business as useual and then we had our quiz. It was a tough one but ourselves and Tobermore picked our team members got the area quiz on the 12th of March.

Our next meeting is at Tobermore Business park on 12th February @7.30 pm, we have a lady coming yo teach us how to take professional photos with our mobile phone. So we're looking forward to that one. Hope to see everyone there remember new members Alwsys welcome.

Hello sorry we haven't updated in a long time our admin has been very busy. A quick synopsis September 2024 was our annual General meeting held in Tobermore. Both branches kept thier committees as was. so our president is Fern McCracken again and tobermore's president is Margaret Johnston, in 2023 magherafelt and Tobermore decided to share meetings as both branches had low numbers we had a very successful 2024 shareing lots of lovely times together. October we met in magherafelt and had a lovely evening doing palates in November we had an amazing tour of Mckee's factory in Maghera. This month we had a lovely Christmas dinner together in the Royal Hotel cookstown. What a lovely evening full of amazing food and very good company. We will be meeting again in January the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm @ meadowbank sports arena. Its our annual quiz and that's always fun. New friends in "waiting"! are very welcome. Please come along.
The womans institute welcomes ladies of all ages and any religion we are not associated with any church or denominations.
I look forward to keeping you all informed of our year ahead.
