Disgusting racists have decided to try and ruin one of the busiest days of the year for the beautiful town of Portrush by having a demonstration there tomorrow.
They have form in this respect- previously a notorious, self confessed N**i stood with a National Front flag outside of the amusements, swearing at holiday makers.

Families work hard, scrimp and save to find the money to take their families away in the summer holidays- the last thing they want or need is to have to endure a far right, baying mob.

Solidarity with all the anti fascists, trade unionists and all the people with love in their hearts who will face down the rabid bullies tomorrow.

Portrush is for everyone except fascists.

PSNI have at last admitted the existence of ‘messages and forums’ online ‘still trying to encourage further protest’.

It’s called inciting a pogrom.

PSNI have a duty to monitor false narratives that threaten public safety, to debunk rumours, and investigate the incitement of violence online. PSNI are failing to do this.

'Adam Wright was an “active participant” during disorder in Portadown last month.

The disorder following the stabbing saw masked mobs set fire to homes, cars and a bus, with people targeted based on their race.

Foreign national healthcare workers were also subjected to threats and intimidation.

The 21-year-old handed himself in to police after his image was circulated by the PSNI, seeking to identify those who took part in the violence.

He confirmed that he understood the single charge of riotous assembly on Mandeville Street in Portadown on June 10.

Objecting to bail, a police officer told the court significant disorder broke out on June 9 and continued into the next day.

The officer described foreign nationals living in the area as being in fear.

While rioting has stopped, she said there are messages and forums online “still trying to encourage further protests”.

“There were widespread incidents across Northern Ireland, including Belfast, Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus and Derry,” the officer told court.'

Mid Ulster says NOT NOW, NOT EVER to racism!

The downpour couldn’t deter the people of Coalisland, GAA clubs, community groups, political parties and trade unions from turning up to the United Against Racism rally to support Hamza.

We rallied in solidarity with Hamza against the cowardly and appalling attack on Chaudhary Hamza Riaz’s phone shop in Coalisland, which after being open for just one single day, had its front windows smashed. The windows are now repaired, and the community unreservedly stands in support with Hamza and everyone who lives here.

Far-right agitators like Tommy Robinson, Nigel Farage, and the world’s wealthiest man, Elon Musk, are actively trying to import hysteria and division in our communities for their own agendas.

Last month, a horrific act in Belfast was overshadowed by cynical actors who have used the tragedy to commit racist pogroms not seen in the north since the 60’s. Dozens of families have had to flee their homes, more now under intimidation to leave. All because of the colour of their skin.

There have been many violent acts of appalling cruelty that have not triggered the kind of response we have seen over the last few months. There were no riots or shutdowns over recent senseless killings of women by people they knew, such as local victims Sophie Watson, killed by her partner, Katrina Rainey killed by her husband, and Margaret Noone killed by her son.

In Cookstown last month, a nursery had to cancel a scavenger hunt for kids due to threats of anti-migrant protests in town. This shows once again that the real threat to women & children are racists and far-right agitators, happy to burn out families and kids.

Migrant workers and people from every ethnic minority are part and parcel of our thriving society. The far right wish to threaten this - not just our migrant neighbours that we love and care for, but communities as a whole.

Every time racists and fascists attempt to organise here, they will be pushed back by the people of Mid Ulster. We need everyone to stand together and not allow their hate and poision to take hold.

United Against Racism Mid Ulster Condemns Racist Attack in Coalisland, Calls for Solidarity Rally

We call on every person in Mid Ulster and beyond to reject the recent disgraceful violence and hate that has terrorised families and children across the north, and sought to divide us. Now is the time to unite in solidarity.

We unequivocally condemn the cowardly and appalling attack on Chaudhary Hamza Riaz’s phone shop in Coalisland. It is absolutely heartbreaking that after being open for just one single day, the business had its front windows smashed.

This targeted destruction in County Tyrone joins a disturbing pattern of intimidatory gatherings and attacks in areas like Belfast and Portadown.

Far-right agitators like Tommy Robinson, Nigel Farage, and the world’s wealthiest man, Elon Musk, are actively trying to push hysteria and division in our communities for their own agendas. Those who turn out to these hate events or carry out these attacks do nothing but terrorise people within their own community.

We know from the overwhelming support often shown by local people that these hateful actions do not appeal to the vast majority in Coalisland, Magherafelt, Cookstown, or the wider Mid Ulster community. Mid Ulster will continue to be a welcoming place to all, and we will stand firmly against hatred like this.

We must show those who seek to divide us that they will not win. We invite the entire community to come together to show that Coalisland stands against racism this Saturday at 1pm at the SQ, Coalisland.
