✨ Project Santa 2025 – A Weekend to Remember

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past two days, took part in our Charity Raffle or contributed with generous donations. Your support has made this year’s Project Santa truly magical.

We’re incredibly grateful for the incredible support from our local community and all those who travelled to be part of it — it’s because of you that we can continue making a positive impact.

We look forward to sharing the total amount raised in the coming weeks. 🎅🏼❤️

✨ The Heart Behind Project Santa | A Celebration of People, Purpose & Community ✨

This year we bring together the voices and stories that truly define Project Santa - the people who shape it, support it and experience its impact year after year.

From Ciaran, our Managing Director who has been at the heart of Project Santa since day one, we’re reminded of how a simple idea to recognise our employees grew into something much bigger - a celebration of kindness, generosity and the power of people coming together. As he reflects on its meaning, he reminds us that when we work together, we can create something truly special. At its core is a value passed down through generations: “It is better to give than to receive.”

Karen offers a powerful perspective from behind the scenes - the hard work before, during and after the event, the teamwork, the long hours and the passion that goes into transforming the factory and resetting it again. For her, Project Santa is about people coming together to create moments that matter for families who need them most. It’s a labour of love that reflects the spirit of giving and the difference every effort, big or small, can make.

We then hear from Darren Fitzpatrick, who continues to support Mid Ulster Community First Responders despite the heartbreaking loss of his son Tony last year. His story is a moving reminder of the strength and togetherness at the heart of this community, and of how Project Santa is so much more than an event.

From Kelly O’Kane, a parent from Kilronan Special School, we see the joy and inclusion Project Santa brings to children and families. Her story highlights the sense of belonging the event creates -moments where every child feels valued and supported.

Finally, Orlagh gives a glimpse into the magic she helps create each year, managing our Santa Grottos and entrance marquee. From late-night preparations to that first moment the lights come on, she captures the excitement and care that make Project Santa so special.

Together, these stories reveal the true heart of Project Santa: the many hands, the countless hours and the shared belief that giving brings us closer together.

🌟 Project Santa 2025 Charity Spotlight: National Deaf Children's Society 🌟

We’re proud to support the National Deaf Children’s Society, a charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss.

Every deaf child matters no matter how they communicate, where they go to school or the level of their hearing loss. Whether a child has mild, moderate, severe or profound hearing loss, the charity is there to provide one-to-one family support, connect communities and campaign for the services and opportunities every deaf child deserves.

Around 3 children are born deaf every day in the UK, and 8 in 10 will experience glue ear before the age of 10. Yet far too many children face delays in support or services that don’t meet their needs. The National Deaf Children’s Society is working to change this, making sure deaf children have the support they need to communicate, connect and achieve their full potential.

With 99% of their work funded by the public, every bit of support truly matters — and makes a real difference for deaf children and their families.

🌟 Project Santa 2025 Charity Spotlight: Diabetes UK 🌟

We’re proud to support Diabetes UK through Project Santa.

Diabetes is one of the fastest-growing health crises of our time and is now the third most common health condition. In Northern Ireland, the number of people living with diabetes has more than doubled in the last 20 years. There are currently around 118,000 diagnosed cases across our five health trusts, with a further 82,000 people registered with pre-diabetes and at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

While there is no cure for any type of diabetes, the right treatment, knowledge and support can help people live long, full and healthy lives. That is the mission Diabetes UK works toward every day.

Their Strike Out Stigma campaign aims to challenge the blame and judgement that people with diabetes often experience. Nobody should face stigma because of a health condition, and this campaign calls for a world where everyone gets the understanding and support they need.

Diabetes UK also promotes awareness of the 4 Ts -Toilet, Thirsty, Tired and Thinner - the key early signs of type 1 diabetes. These symptoms can appear suddenly and need urgent medical attention, especially in children.

By supporting Diabetes UK through Project Santa, you’re helping raise awareness, improve care and support thousands of families across Northern Ireland.
