The heritage centre in Maghera is a hub for the collection and documenting of historical and cultural information about Maghera and the surrounding area. We create publications and events to for the local community.

Upperlands Community Development Ltd is seeking volunteers to help revitalise and improve their community garden space.

This is a practical, hands-on volunteering opportunity involving a range of light gardening and improvement tasks, including weeding, planting, painting, general tidying, clearing overgrown areas, and helping to bring colour and life back into the garden. No experience needed. Volunteers need to be aged 16+
