We will be reviewing the draft Constitution and discussing our first committee members. This is a great opportunity to get involved, have your say, and help shape the future of the Vinery.

It's been a busy couple of days at Training Days, with plenty of jobs keeping the team occupied despite the warm weather.

Everyone remained motivated and worked hard throughout, while making sure to stay safe by keeping hydrated and taking regular breaks in the shade when needed.

Over the last two days, we successfully serviced four gardens, fitted a new gate, completed a range of woodwork tasks, and made a start on building a putting green at our base.

We're looking forward to sharing photos of the progress soon—watch this space!

What a great day! 🙌

Today we helped someone move into his new home 🏡, got out and hoed some streets to keep the area looking tidy, did a bit of woodwork, and even ran some strimmer training down at the dog park. 🌳🐕

Lots of hard work, plenty of laughs, and another day spent making a positive difference in the community.

A big well done and thank you to all the trainees involved – we couldn't do it without you! 💪😊

🌟 A Very Busy Week at Training Days! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome Vic to the staff team on Monday, followed by our two newest trainees joining us on Wednesday. We also added another staff member to our Wednesday team! 🎉

We now have 27 of our 28 placements filled, and we've expanded even further by opening an additional 4 half-day placements, bringing us up to 30 full-day placements per week once filled. 📈

The extra staff and trainees are bringing even more energy and excitement to our sessions, helping us increase our social impact and create more opportunities for everyone involved. 🤝💚

There have been lots of projects underway over the last couple of days, despite the less-than-ideal weather! 🌦️🛠️

A special shout-out to Aiden, who has started building a beautiful new well planter. 👏🌱 photos to follow on Monday!

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Ricky Ross Building and rough casting for donating more tools to support our projects. 🔨 Another big thank you goes to The Garret Home Furnishings for their incredibly generous donation of paint. 🎨 Your continued support helps us provide more opportunities, complete more projects, and make an even bigger impact in our community.

🌟 Meet Steve and Kevin, our two newest trainees! 🌟

They've both joined the team with fantastic enthusiasm 😊, great ideas 💡, and a real willingness to get stuck in 💪.

🛠️ Steve began working on a project to build a new side for the Banff Primary School shed. 👏.

🐮🌼 Kevin came up with the idea of creating a Highland cow planter and has helped bring his vision to life with plenty of creativity and imagination 🎨✨.

There was lots happening throughout the day 🔨, and the team really made the most of it. It was fantastic to see everyone working together 🤝, developing new skills, and making such positive contributions.

A productive day for the team today! 👏

🧱 We completed the slab base for our customer's bins, creating a solid and level surface for them to sit on. This project has been a great transformation from start to finish, with the team previously installing the fence posts, building the fence, and fitting the gate. Everything is now complete, and the customer's bins will no longer be blowing over in the wind! 💨➡️🗑️

🌿 We also carried out grass cutting at the Heritage Garden in Macduff, helping to keep the area looking tidy and well maintained.

🚪 Meanwhile, another part of the team spent most of the day problem-solving, fitting two gates. Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of that job, but a lot of hard work and teamwork went into it.

Today marks a new milestone for Training Days, as we now have two staff members working on each day of the week.

Today, Vic joined as the newest member of the team and got straight into the swing of things, helping to engage our trainees and making the activities both fun and worthwhile.

We're delighted to have Vic on board and look forward to the positive impact she’ll make.

Another week of Training Days completed.

This week, we've been overwhelmed by the number of people from the community who have reached out offering their support. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped.

Willie from Bremners of Foggie kindly donated paint. Macduff shipyards made a generous £200 donation, as did another member of the public. The Garret Home Furnishings donated even more garden tools, and many others have come forward with additional tools and equipment, including a brand-new lawnmower and strimmer.

We look forward to putting everything to good use next week and continuing the great progress being made.

Thank you all for your ongoing support—it is greatly appreciated.
