Macclesfield Roundtable Fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting, that’s what Round Table is all about. We have an annual weekend trip to foreign destinations.

From sports to arts and nights out at restaurants to family social events, Round Table prides itself on giving its members the chance to embrace life to the full. At Macclesfield Round Table, we try to ensure that we have a balance between the formal side of Tabling and having fun. We get together on a regular basis, with a number of activities planned through the year. These range from a few beer

s and a curry through to go-karting, canal boating, ten-pin bowling, Gliding and even tug-of-war in an organised event! This year after a conversation while cycling between three of us, 22 people did the Coast to Coast cycle ride over three days in June. At our table we do also cover the more formal stuff - we have regular business meetings where Round Table matters are covered, although we still try to have fun at these meetings as well. In years gone by, this has included Madrid, Krakow, Stuttgart, Dublin and many, many more.

Check us out… being all cultured!

With the group growing nicely, we decided to make the most of the end of the heatwave and take Macc Round Table 332 out on the water.

A few cars, a couple of boats, plenty of snacks and drinks, and absolutely no evidence that any of us know how to properly operate a boat.

We headed down to Bollington Boats & Bikes, jumped aboard and spent the evening cruising up and down the canal, occasionally looking like we knew what we were doing.

Good mates, good laughs and a cracking way to spend an afternoon.

The sun is out so why not head down to Victoria Park.

The Shine a Light Festival is taking place over at Victoria Park in support of Rossendale Trust starting at 11:30am. Head on over, have a great day, then get ready for the football. Sounds like a great day.

Round Table 332 keeps growing 💪

Junes Monthly meeting started with a celebration of a fantastic year for RT. We've had such amazing growth in the group with the nicest blokes joining, many successful charitable events, some top volunteer work and of course great support and banter with each another.

We started our night at the newly opened Jana restaurant where we enjoyed great food and great hospitality. Because there was so many of us (19) we then took our meeting outside to the Park Horse where we caught up on business and upcoming events as well as to officially swear in our newest members Tom and Ethan. Welcome aboard chaps.

Onwards and upwards!
