Do you play an instrument and want to start playing as part of a group? Have you played in the past and want to start playing again? You're very welcome to come along and join us for one of our rehearsals! 🎼 🎶
We’re a friendly and relaxed amateur orchestra and are looking for new members to join, especially brass and strings! 🎻🎺
We rehearse on Tuesdays 7.45pm-9.45pm at the Salvation Army Hall in Macclesfield.
We play a wide range of music including light classical, TV and film theme tunes, opera and medleys of stage shows 🎭🎬🎼 It’s great fun and we always have a break half way through for a cup of tea and a biscuit 😋

As ever we had so much fun playing festive tunes at Tesco on Tuesday night! It was fab to see some shoppers having a little sing along and clapping us, and we were overwhelmed at the generous donations we received too, thank so much! We’re now taking a break over Christmas and will be back to rehearsals on Tuesday 6 January.
Thanks to everyone has supported us this year, and wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! 🎶 🎄

Fancy some festive music whilst doing your food shop? 🎶🎄 We’ll be playing in the big Tesco (Hibel Road) on Tuesday 16th December from 6pm - 8pm so you can enjoy some carols and Christmassy songs while shopping! Come and give us a wave if you’re there 🎄🎶 🎅

What a great day we had on Saturday at Macclesfield Heritage Open Day in the beautiful town hall. We spoke to lots of lovely people, hopefully a few potential new members, and some local community organisations that we will look to provide entertainment for or support with fundraising. And as ever it was brilliant to see the wide variety of interesting groups that people can get involved with in Macclesfield! A big thanks as ever to Macclesfield Town Council for organising - see you there next year! 🎼🎶
