A reminder that we have a members meeting and AGM on Wednesday 18th November at 7.30pm (doors open at 7), paid refreshments available from Cinebar.

We would love a good crowd for this one as we make a couple of important decisions together.

We are also looking for new directors, the time commitment is flexible and the roles varied! Please get in touch if you would be interested.

If that's not for you, we have a lot of different volunteer opportunities as well.

With storm Boleo in full effect, the Treacle Market is off tomorrow (Sunday 25th) and so will won't be open.

But we are open as normal as from Monday 26th (10-4)

Save the date 💚

As a members cooperative our AGM is a vital milestone each year. Please come and hear what we have been up to, what we are planning, and crucially, have your say too!

Our AGM will take place on 18th November at , with doors open from 7pm, a 7.30pm start. Refreshments available to purchase from Cinebar.

If you have ever thought about joining the Scoop and Scales board, we would love to hear from you! We are open to everyone, but are especially seeking:
- someone from a finance background to act as Treasurer
- a director to support volunteers and the membership base
- someone to help run a varied programme of events

Tomorrow is the first Macclesfield Coffee Festival ☕📣

Loads of events to go to, wonderful cafes to grab a hot mug of coffee from, and outlets to stock up your supplies for home.

To celebrate, we are offering 5% off our bags of and tins of Fairtrade instant coffee.

🍎Apple Pressing🍏

One of our favourite events of the year is coming up soon!

Pop along at any point and help the team process Macclesfield and surrounding areas finest apples. We share what we make and all are welcome.

If you have some apples to contribute, please bring them along, and bring a bottle too, but if you have neither, bring some elbow grease and get stuck in.
